XFX Double D 7870 performance with core i7 870

Hello,

I was wondering if the core i7 870 processor can handle a XFX Double D 7870 card, or whether the processor would bottle neck the performance of the graphics card? What do you guys think?

No way, that CPU is still very good. You could get any modern graphcis card and it would not matter much. But the Double D versions are crappy and overpriced.

Consider Sapphire or Asus.
