Hey,

I'm thinking about to get 2 XFX FX-795A-TDJC for crossfire, they look like to be a custom PCB with 6 + 8 power connectors... I don't know if this is a good or bad thing, because they are cheaper than others xfx 7950.... is this a custom low-end pcb or what?

Does anyone have this card?
what about OC and temps?
is it voltage locked?
I'm not going to watercooler, so I don't really care that it isn't a reference PCB, I'm worried if it is a good pcb with good components.

Looks like they are using the same custom PCB they use on the 7970 DD BE (with 2 dvi connectors)
PCB model: VPEAC3861PS8

Thanks.

XFX comes with 2 years warranty.
but I'm worried if this card is a "cheap" version or what... because they don't even have it on their website.

Hi i haven't tried to OC the card in all fairness as it runs fine in Crysis3, which is what i got with the card free :)

I am sorry I didn't catch that in the OP. I have a double d 7870 and the card works great. However, I would still recommend looking at Asus or Sapphire as viable options if you can get them at the same price. Also, are you planning on an eyefinity setup?

I am running eyefinity already...
I am asking about this cards because they are the cheapest ones, around £220.00, Asus or Sapphire are around £250.00 or more, in that case I would prefer to go for a 7970 for £300.00, but I know that really really soon they will release the new cards, so I don't think I will go for the 7970's.

ok :D

but if you have time, can you just check if it is voltage locked? because if it is locked I will not buy it.
