You never heard of that card? It's basically two 7900GTs on one PCI-E board.

Nope, first time Ive seen it. I've had my head buried so far up my arse on the core 2/am2 and chipset stuff, I havent paid any attention to Nvidia chipped video cards

Peace

It's actually a better deal than 2x7900GT's when you consider the price/performance ratio (especially at higher resolutions). It also frees up that other PCI-E 16x slot for other stuff.

If I were given a choice between 2x7900GT's in SLI or the GX2, I'd definitely get the GX2. It's almost a no-brainer. Cost difference is only about $80 at the most and you get 1GB of RAM as opposed to 512MB. That really helps at higher resolutions.

definately. Its also a good choice card for people who do not actually have an sli board but would like to have an sli setup. Gotta love dual cards. Too bad they are so expensive :(. If nvidia or ati released a good mid range dual card for like $400 i would probably buy it. But $600 is too much for me.

i paid nearly $1000 for these two 7800 GTX's. they've served me well though. i'm gonna keep 'em for another 6 months.

try to upgrade once a year... i resell the old parts on eBay and make a decent buck. usually around 50%-60% of what they originally retailed for.

Just found THGs review. Its a monster, to be sure, but for the price, it doesnt look like that good of a deal.
