OK, before u say anything, i know the 8500 GT is an old card.
Maybe if i had some cash i'd upgrade the card.
But i guess i'm stuck with it for a while.
So i thought i'd overclock it.
For me the stock settings where:

Core Speed: 459Mhz
Shader Speed: 918Mhz
Memory Speed: 350Mhz

and i got a 3DMark05 Score of: 5584.

i overclocked it yesterday to:

Core Speed: 766Mhz
Shader Clock: 1532Mhz
Memory Speed: 450Mhz

i then got a 3DMark05 Score of: 6626.

But i was thinking, Can i push it further or not?
They're as high as it will go before the Artifact Scan on nVidia shows errors.
Btw im totally new to this overclocking stuff, so take it easy on me pls. I just read alot yesterday and did my best.
Thnx in advance.

wow storm thats a really good OC. congratz

the core jump of over 300 mhz is CRAZY not to mention the 600 mhz shader jump.

VERY NICE

but if you got good air flow you can try but those #'s are already very high.

oh cool,
I did well for my first overclock then :)

So ur saying if i get better cooling i could possibly get more.
And should i flash it or not?

Don't use 3dmarks as your benching tool try you favorite game as its useless in real world . Thats a huge overclock you suppose to see more then just a few hundred points
