XFX GTX 285; 630w recommended **in 2009**... thoughts on using a 650w EVGA Supernova G3?

My rig's looking to be like this:

Mobo: ASUS PRIME B250 series

CPU: Pentium G4560

RAM: 1x8gb or 2x8gb

GPU: XFX GTX 285

1 SSD, 2-3 HDDs



I took the Cooler Master PSU calculator and it gave me a Wattage load of 413w, recommending me 450w.


The XFX GTX 285 is recommended to be used 630w or more -- non-SLI. However, this is 2009. How would the new EVGA Supernova G3 handle it at 650w?

How would the new EVGA Supernova G3 handle it at 650w? It will handle it no problem , will perform like a champ. Fantastic Super Flower Leadex II power supply.
