According to XFX's website it takes a 6-pin connector. However the image does not show one. However Newegg's image of the card does show it has a 6-pin PCIe cable. So yes it has one, it's just an outdated image. XFX must have been planning to make the card without one but realized they couldn't and added it on later.

I purchased this card so when I get it tomorrow of Thursday I'll be able to tell you for sure. I'm 99.9% sure it has a PCIe cable requirement though.

I could've sword AMD announced that the 460 runs off of PCIe power only. I didn't know aftermarket companies had the power to add power connectors and "drastically" change it?
