(for reference, my specs are listed below...)

Recently, my xfx7800gtx (490/1300) is heating up pretty badly...and by badly im talking in the high 90's. Personally, i dont mind the heat, but i mind the artifacts that begin invading my screen as im galloping in my horse in oblivion through a lustrous and lively forest, just trying to have a good time!
Now i just need to know if there is anyone out there with the same card experiencing this problem or not! (im running on stock cooling)

(Also, is the heating caused by bad cable management, or because some of the cables hanging around are in contact with parts of the card or something...i.e. need guidance!)

by the way...
For anyone proposing a cooling solution such as an arctic silencer x1 or something, im living in riyadh, buying any type of hardware here is impossible, and if found, it will cost me my pocket money from here until i begin to lose sense of reality.
for those wondering how i got my computer, my dad bought it when he went to the states.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions !!
Appreciate the help!

Get that blower...or find it someplace where they can ship it to you. I'd try getting a blower and see if it helps any. If not get some more case fans.

yeah i think you are right, my friend keeps his 6800gt cool using a house fan, and now he's overlocked it to 430/1050 and plays any game on it no problem.

i just wanted to know though if anyone else experiences this problem thats all, cause when i looked at everones temps, their loads all seem to be less that 60, or 70 max.
