Hello everyone,

I am building a new desktop this summer and I have all the parts ordered except the GPU. Here is the list of parts

AMD Phenom II X2 550
GA-MA790X-UD4P
HITACHI 500GB
ACER 22" 1680x1050
ROSEWILL 600W PSU
G. SKILL 4GB @ 1066
CM 690 Case

I am been looking at reviews and benchmarks of 2 GPUs. I still cannot decided which I should buy. The first is a

they're pretty much exactly the same. just get whichever is cheaper, unless that double warranty thing has any importance to you.

Go for the cheaper one. If it lasts 2 years, it should last quite a while after that. You'll save yourself $25 that you can put towards a new graphics card you get in how ever many years. They are almost exactly the same, except for the picture and who built it. They will both perform the same.

Aye, I also prefer XFX, but only as I have a short upgrade cycle..

It really comes down to whether you put your left or right sock on first.
