Hello everyone, I am new. I have a problem with my psu XFX PRO 650W XXX Edition, bought in 2015.
I haven't had any performance problems in these years, but in the last two years it has started to make an annoying noise constantly.
Today I decided to open it to clean it thoroughly, I cleaned the fan well and put a drop of oil in the center to see if the noise diminished. I also cleaned everything else and reassembled everything. Nothing has changed.
I would like to avoid changing it only for noise, so as an alternative solution I was thinking of changing the fan and reassembling everything.
I don't know if it's a good idea, what do you think?
If it's a good idea, which fan should I buy? What size, pin etc?
Possibly I would like to buy it on amazon.it so I can make the return if it doesn't go well.
