I would definitely go with the Seasonic (XFX) over the Corsair. Corsair isn't what it used to be. If you want some excellent reviews of power supplies, which seem to be hard to come by, I would check out check out HardOCP's reviews. Their testing is insane.
JonnyGuru and a pile of other sites do similar stuff. The second link in my sig is a compiled list of PSUs rated by quality, though it's not always up to date.
XFX by far. It's built by SeaSonic, who are basically the best around at the moment.
Corsair cheaped out on the caps in the CX series, so they'll die early.
I had one 650W XFX psu that came with a very very loud fan and a second one which came with a less but still broken fan, The 750w is on sale for the same price as the 650w now, Would the 750 be less likely to have a broken fan?
That's quite uncommon, from what I've seen. No reason that the 750W would be less likely to have a broken fan (though the 650W shouldn't have had one either). It's possible that there was a bad batch or something, though.
Although JonnyGuru was my favorite site, I recently discovered he is now working for Corsair. Very hard to be objective. There is still plenty of good info but now Jonny will respectfully decline speaking on some subjects.

However, there are other reviewers there. And he did make the conflict fairly clear - I'll have to hunt it down, but he's not going to review Corsair stuff and I'm not sure about others.

I agree with the concern about jg, but I see it as also a possibility that Corsair might actually be concerned with
the negativity that has developed on some of their series (CX, RM, for example) and may be trying to
rehabilitate their reputation in PSU's.
