xfx psu question

Solution
To be honest I'm not sure there is a different name for them but the purpose is quite obvious. The flat molded wires ( I refer to them as molded because that is the process used to coat them) make it much easier to run different setts of wires across each other and not interfere with case panels being put back on. Example: the flat wires when when 2 sets are crossed over each other are thinner than the braided style crossed over each other. This you probably already know though.

Most newer PSU's (with the exception of low end and non-modular) now are coming this way from the factory because of the reason given above. If you refer to them like I do , flat molded or braided wrapped, everyone will be able to know what you are talking...
Still your question is not clear. What do you mean in some PSU's the 24 pin cable is weird? Some older PSU's had a 20 pin cable. The only difference between the two pics are that some cables are molded so that they are flat and others are covered with a braided wrap to keep them together.

Please ask a clear question so we may better help you.

vague questions make it very difficult to understand what you are trying to ask. Does what have different names?

side panel?

Yes. The side panel that you remove to access the hardware. You have 2 X 140mm fans installed on it. These do not have filters from the factory and they suck so much air in that is not filtered it blows dust throughout the case. In your case you have the Corsair H100 or H100i, this dust can be very difficult to clean out of the radiator. These type of filters help stop this and are really easily removed for cleaning since they are just magnetically held to the side panel.
