Xfx r7870 black edition

hello guys, I own an xfx r7870 black edition and was wondering if my core 2 quad Q9650 will bottleneck it? ram is 8gb ddr3. can it this rig run the next gen games?? Need your suggestions...thnx

If you own the card, just run an intensive game like BF4, and check the GPU and CPU usage, if CPU usage strikes 100% and GPU usage is not in the 90s, then yes it's bottlenecking.
