Xfx r9 270 power supply?

I have a cooler master thubder 500W psu and i cant figure out the specs reaaly well. Could you please tell me if Xfx r9 270 can work with overclock if not how can i make it work?   http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/thunder/thunder-500w/

you will need to list your full computer specs. mainly what cpu you have as that is the other main source of power usage.

just as a guess it only has one 6pin power cable plus what it can pull though the motherboard you should be ok with a 500watt psu.

Well the full pc specs are
CPU I5 4460
MOBO ASUS B85M-K
RAM 1X8GB 1333MHZ
OPTICAL DRIVE
HARDDRIVE 1TB WD GREEN
GPU XFX R9 270 DD EDITION
PSU COOLER MASTER THUNDER 500 W
could anyone figure out if the cpu volt rail has the the highest amps or the pci e volt rail has. I also have a question if gou needs only one 6pin connector does that mean that one connector only supplies limited amps such as say some only 10 amps out of 20 amps supplied to the rail. I would be very grateful for clarifying my doubts.

fyi a single 6pin is 75 watts (6.25 amps) or even if it trys to draw a little more then atx specs lets call it 7 amps max. which is also the limit of what it can draw though the motherboard.

with your build you should be ok.
