Hello everyone,
As the title says, I own a XFX R9 280x Black Edition that is instantly crashing whenever I open a 3D Application (e.g. a game or 3dmark11).
I have replaced my motherboard with a more updated one and was getting "Your driver has crashed but has recovered" and now with the new motherboard I'm getting "DXGI ERROR DEVICE REMOVED". - I have tried both ATI CCC 14.4 and 14.8 Drivers with same results.
Both crashes are right when I start a game, or in this case 3dmark2011.
I am using 3dmark11 to test only now since I just swapped motherboards and did a fresh OS install. I didn't want to waste time installing games like last time when every one would crash.
Could there be some motherboard bios setting I'm missing? The bios is updated to the latest (4/2013). I was messing around with it last night with no luck.
This is my system:
Motherboard:
Intel DZ77RE-75K
(Previous mobo was an Intel DP67BG)
Processor:
Intel i7 2600K
Memory:
*NOTE* - It's running at 1.5v 1333 9-9-9-24 (set by the motherboard)
PXD38G1600LLK
DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Timing 8-9-8-24
Cas Latency 8
Voltage 1.65V

Video Card:

PSU:

Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Thank you so much for any help you guys have to offer.
