Ok so I just purchased a new GC I was using a NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT I purchased yerterday a Radeon HD 6450 by XFX 1GB my PC specs are as follows

16GB Kingston RAM @ 1866Mhz
AMD 6100 Black Edition (6 core) @ 3.8Ghz
ASUS M5A99X EVO Mother Board
Cooler Master Pro 800 WATT Power Supply
250 GB SSD Primary 2.5 TB SATA3 Secondary
XFX Radeon HD 6450 1GB GPU
PIXXO NVIDIA Special Edition Gaming Case
Using an LG 32" HD LCD TV @ 1080p

my concern here is that I spent about 100 USD on the GPU ( Iive in Mexico everything is more expensive in computer parts) the 6550 I believe is the number assigned to the one that is one step above mine would have ran me over 200 USD (too expensive) but I hear nothing but bad reviews about the 6450 and need some feed back I do light to moderate Gaming, Payday 2, COD Black Ops 2, Assassins Creed 3, GTA IV, and thats about it at the moment, I work for a small Game Studio called Larva Studios, and I do alot of work from home Mudbox, 3D Studio MAX, Auto CAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Primer Pro, After Effects. I primarily produce the Game Commercials and Packaging Designs and at times do Environment Design and rending when we are short handed, looking for some feed back on the system and if I screwed up by purchasing this card. Thank you in advance.

A Radeon 6670 GDDR5 or 7750 would be the best upgrade. At best the 6450 might be a few percent faster than your 9500GT.

Not sure of how much the price difference is, but here in the USA I can buy a 6450 1GB for under $20 new.

Yeah that is what I have heard I bought the 6450 1GB @ Bestbuy for 1400 Mexican Pesos which is roughly equal to 110 US so it is easily 5 times the US price
