XFX radeon HD 6870 2gb fan is not spinning

so i got this card from a friend a few months ago an the fan worked perfectly until a couple of weeks ago it started making a noise then stopped all together the day after, it turns on for like 1 sec then dies again each few mins i am getting temperatures of 100c+ when i try to run overwatch or mgs5 i tried msi afterburner but does not seem to do much i also tried cleaning it which did not do anything

Check that fan for a wire or something blocking it, if not then replace it and take it easy on the card until you do.
