I live in the UK and the price is similar to what I see on everyday deals in UK websites. The 280X is more powerful if you have a good enough power supply.

I think that for $230, You are getting a very solid performing card. If you play at a higher resolution, you can really benefit from the 3GB of vRAM. And a Black Edition is overrated anyway, becasue you can download MSI Afterburner and just overclock it to Black Edition speeds yourself. Then congratualtions, You just essentially made your own Black Edition version of the same card.

Compared to the 760, this card is significantly better. At $230 it is a solid buy for a solid card that will be able to max out 99% of games on a 1080p monitor.

I would recommend the card to you.
