XFX Radeon RX 470 work on windows 7?

This may be a very stupid question but I'm just gonna go for it:

I want to purchase a XFX Radeon RX 470 graphics card, but the store I want to buy it from says windows 10 is required for this graphics card. I'm still on windows 7, but I've never heard of a graphics card requiring a specific version of windows. Will this card work properly with windows 7?
