Question XFX RX590+144hz+MSI afterburner questions

Hi,

I've got an RX590 from XFX and a 144hz screen. I use MSI afterburner as well. I've got a few questions.

1. Basescreen settings @144hz or @60hz?
2. Best fancurve for the xfx RX590? It's standard. I have this right now: (%=fanspeed, C=temp)

0%@20C, 30%@30C, 40@40, 60%@50C, 80%@60C, 95%@70C and 100%@85C
3) Is it bad for the lifespan of the card if the card gets 83 degrees avg with the fans constantly at full speed for several hours?

83C isn't bad for the chip, but it shouldn't take max fans to maintain that. What is your GPU frequency in that situation?

Might need to evaluate case airflow (which can reduce temps) , or look into undervolting (which will reduce power/heat/noise at the same frequency vs Auto voltage) .

Changed the fancurve to: 70%@60C, 80%@70C, 90%@80C, and 100%@90C
Runs at a constant 90% to maintain 80C avg

Case temps are around the 55C and CPU is around 65C avg

So that tells me we should consider undervolting.

Also, I lowered my temps from 85C @ 100% fans to 71C @ 25% fans by reapplying TIM to my MSI RX480 8GB GamingX
