amd is the company that makes the r9 270x chip. xfx, evga, msi, zotac and asus are all companies that sell amd's r9 270x chip on graphics cards with different cooling, hardware and settings.

Yes. AMD's partners generally can customize boards, and install the same GPU that all the other partners have. Some boards get overclocked, some do not. But it has always been that way. Normally, overclocked cards cost more than non-overclocked cards. Sometimes, boards with 3 cooling fans cost more than ones with 2. But the 3 card fans should be a little quieter. But not always.

Thanks . I have a GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2P Board. PSU is a Rosewill CAPSTONE Series 550W 80 Plus. Should the card run fine with this setup?

also an amd fx 4300 cpu. Will this card bottleneck that?

Probably not , but this also depends if your games/programs use 4 cores and if they are very cpu dependant. You could overclock your cpu to be sure.

It should. Video cards and motherboards are pretty standardized anymore. So are power supplies, although there are a huge number of very bad power supplies out there. The Rosewill Capstone are decent units though from what I see.
