Hello everyone
Basically my problem is that the fan of my PSU, in hybrid mode, starts spinning for a few seconds, stops for a few seconds, and then again the same thing. This happens either when i'm playing (relatively) light games OR after playing one and switching the case's fans from fast to mild.
My room temperature is about 25° so what i'm guessing it's happening is that the PSU, after or in-between a gaming session, continuously reaches the threshold temperature for a few seconds, the fan kicks in and brings it down, then it reaches it again and so forth and so on.
I also noticed that the PSU starts doing this only once the GPU goes above 53/4°, maybe because the latter's fans are pointing down and the former's up so one warms the other?
For example, now that a good half-a-hour has passed since playing. and the GPU sits at 43°, the PSU's fan has stopped doing its thing
It's kind of annoying having to hear this noise going on and off intermittently, especially since the rest of my PC is very silent, so i would like to know if there is some kind of solution or if it's a problem of my PSU and should get it changed
Thanks!
