Of course. The reason we don't have graphics that are as realistic as real life is because of a lack of pixels. This explains why standard definition television always looked so fake when compared to HD.
This is pretty fucked up. I knew XFX had gone downhill but this is just plain ugly. DirectX67, so real you'll prefer it over the real thing? Feeling the searing pain of explosions? (A guy's head explodes) Having sex in virtual reality? Uhhh FCC, please get this one for me. Sorry XFX, but you aren't really being funny. I dunno about you guys but I can't wait for DirectX69 though....
Man it actually just looks like fake and crappy special effects,
It's just weird with the whole 2118 AD thing, it's like a creepy, "Big Brother" thing.
HOLY HELL 24!!! MONITORS!!!!
I heard from another article that one of the Cypress card ran WOW at 7680 x 3200 at 80fps. :O http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3635
Imagine Crysis on 24 30in monitors with four of these monster cards.
"Imagine Crysis on 24 30in monitors with four of these monster cards. " I think I'll wait...oh....10 years before that's even possible for a single GPU. Modern setups can barely render 2560x1600 Crysis at max, now all we need to do...is double the current performance, and then figure out how to scale it and get 24X the performance in the process.....2118 might be about right.
Oh great. XFX's commercials are reminding me a little of a futuristic movie I watched recently that had these commercials in it , and the entire planet was covered in fallout.
But yeah , make me feel sex? Thats a great way to lose my virginity to a virtual puppet.
