Question XG279Q or VG27AQL1A?

I really don't know which one to pick and the only difference that I noticed is that XG279Q is 8bit and VG27AQL1A is 10bit and of course the price, VG27AQL1A is a bit cheaper but price isn't really an issue. I'd appreciate any help! thanks

I got same problem. XG279Q was released over half year ago and VG27AQL1A is newer and cheeper, but price is not an issue. I want the better one (i need everything run as smooth as possible)... so which one is it?

Both use Au Optronics panel, cheaper is 10 bit [8 bit + FRC] and more expensive is 8 bit only. Thus no "true" HDR color range. I'm wrestling with the same decision atm. too

I got the XG279Q with a good discount on black friday and enjoy the colors, especially with HDR ON. No proffesional opinion but for me the IPS panel was a must as I use this monitor mainly for work and only then for gaming.
