Xiaomi Redmi 4X with an external monitor?

is it possible that, using adapters from micro usb to a usb to hdmi adapter to plug this phone into an external monitor? I have a 2560x1080 widescreen monitor and I ordered this phone, and as a joke I wanted to order these adapteres and stuff to turn the phone into a computer XD

So is this possible, or would I be wasting my money?

You'd be wasting your money because that isn't going to work.

A phone has no external graphics output.
