XIGMATEK ACK-I5361 + OCZ Vendetta 2 = solution for LGA 1156?

Does anyone know if the XIGMATEK ACK-I5361 LGA 1156 mounting kit will work with the OCZ Vendetta 2?

I just bought a Gigabyte p55a-ud4p and I want to know if my Vendetta 2 will work with that kit.

Did the vendetta come with a 1156 backplate and mounting kit? Is your mobo one with 1366 and 1156 holes?

Typically each company has it's own proprietary mounting system.

the OCZ Vendetta 2 doesn't have an 1156 mounting system out.

However the vendetta 2 is supposedly a clone (or at least very similarly designed) of the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 which the XIGMATEK ACK-I5361 LGA1156 mounting kit works with.

So I'm wondering if the XIGMATEK ACK-I5361 kit would work with the Vendetta 2. I tried googling but there doesn't seem to be anyone who's tried.

ok so I emailed OCZ support and asked them the same question and they replied telling me that the Xigmatek ACK-I5361 LGA1156 mounting kit should work with the Vendetta 2!

Great news for Vendetta 2 owners looking to upgrade to LGA 1156 setups!!

Good to know.

I don't have an 1156 board but I knew that the Xigmatek and Vendetta brackets were interchangeable for 1366 boards as I've gone that route.
