Xigmatek hdt-s1283 vs dark knight

Hi I want to build a E8500 gaming rig and I want to do some overclocking. What is the difference between these two heat sinks and which one is more recommended. I checked on frostytech and the hdt-s1283 is rated higher.

The review on frostytech is pretty thorough. It is quieter than the 1283, but doesnt cool as well on the lower speeds, but still beats a majority of the market. One factor that I like over the 1283 is the pin mechanism. The dark knight uses screws that you KNOW are all in place when your done, while the normal 1283 has the push pins.

If you get the HDT-S1283 you have to pay extra for the retention bracket.
