hi everyone i hope you all are having a good day/night right now.
i have been building some mining computers from a few days ago and i already built 3 computers, and i was testing them to see how they work till two nights ago one of them failed on me, here is the specs i'm using:
CPU: intel g4400
Mainboard: gigabyte z170x ultra gaming
memory: 8GB ddr4 Crucial 2133
kingstone 120gb ssd
6x AMD RX 580 (different vendors, sapphire on two computers and gigabyte on third one)
V9 raiser cables
power supply: xigmatek vector s1200w silver

while running it takes 1250w at max from wall, for all 6 GPU's running, and when i disabled one of them to test and see the difference 5 GPUs were taking 1050w from the wall, at first night i smelled something burning like wires burning, i turned off the computer and after some inspection i noticed one of the cables which were connected only to SSD for sata is melted down on the socket to power supply, so the majority of damage was the socket of power supply to the cable and the cable head itself, i switched the power and that cable thinking maybe the power supply was faulty, after around 24 hours of working the second power on the same system melted down the same cable, plus one of the PCI-E cables, but the majority of damage was on that same sata socket, so i took out that system tearing it apart to investigate more on other parts to see if i can figure something out, then tonight i saw another one of those computers started to smell like burning wire too, turned it off and the first thing i did was taking out that famous sata cable, same socket melted down the cable, these SATA cables were only connected to one SSD, and nothing else, here is the link for the power supply

ATM i'm not sure what's going on, as far as i can see the 1200w seems to be not enough for 6 GPUs (is it really not enough?) but why melting that sata cable? is it really a problem of wattage or something else is going on here? right now i have restricted access to PSUs for god knows why, because i checked online shopping sites around my area and they were running out of power supplies of 1200w and higher like there are absolutely nothing left, maybe other miners are buying them all not sure but i want to make sure i know where is my problem before i go and buy something else, so if anyone can help me here i would really appreciate it.
thanks.

yes both have same everything, same power supply and same hardware, the raiser cables are connected to SATA cables, different socket and cables though.

well, two ports of PCI-E are busy with 6 GPUs, two SATA sockets are covering 6 raiser cables, one IDE cable for 3 fans, and another SATA cable from a single socket goes to a SATA SSD, and this SSD cable is melted down, on all three powers, dunno why, ok i will try to search for better PSUs but as i said high wattage PSUs are really rare around me now.
