Question Xilence 500w psu help.

You cannot just "see" if PSU is okay.
You need technical level of understanding how components work, having actuall tools to test out and possibly capacitors hold charge which "may" shock you badly (thats why you see that plastic cover which goes under PSU to prevent shorts).

From my experience the first thing that "Should" blow is the Fuse which may be hidden under green board where comes main AC power.
Also I dont have any experience nor I dont want to have experience with "Xilence" PSU. (It reminds me of silently trying to kill your PC)
One review note that it uses HEC platform but thats from 2014.
