XL display for gtx 1070

Hello guys, I've received great feedback on the new build I'm planning.. now to the display.. the pc will be set up in the living room of my apartment so I'd like to have a nice large display that I can play fps as well as watch movies.. 40" or larger would be nice.. are there any tvs or large displays not too expensive and with not too much input lag at 1440p? Thanks for any feedback

At that size your looking at TV's which means 1080p or 4k at 60Hz. Problem is a 1070 is a little over the top for 1080p 60Hz but not really enough for 4k 60Hz.

You probably used consoles as part of your logic for thinking this is relatively possible. The thing is consoles are 30-60 fps locked and the TV's that power them better with less input lag are 1500$ or more generally. Maybe in this circumstance, your best bet would be to get a 100hz 3440x1440 ultrawide? Although there are some 32" 1080p 144hz panels that received positive enough reviews acknowledging the obviousness of pixelation .
