XL2430t crackling noise ?

I have this monitor for a while, i'm using displayport cable and never had problems. Today i heard a random crackling noise and found out it was my monitor, it still made this noise when i turned the monitor off so i thought it might've been the integrated psu? Then i reconnected all the cables and the problem was somehow gone.. Not hearing any crackling now.

was it just a loose cable or something more serious??

The last screen that I had which made a crackling noise was shortly followed by smoke and a strong smell of burning. Crackling noises from electrical devices are not a good sign

Yes indeed.... That's why i'm worried, it's a brand new screen. But i'm not hearing any crackling anymore...hopefully it was the cable? I gues i'l find out sooner or later
