XL2720Z Resolution issue

Hello, I just got my new Benq xl2720z, and so far its amazing compared to my last monitor, but its just having some weird issues... When I go into Display Pilot, the configuration app for the display, it is telling me that I am not at the optimum resolution, and tells me to click "optimum resolution" to fix it.

Well, clicking it does nothing lol. I was just testing it out on Doom and its really crisp, but my gosh... The desktop, for instance, the taskbar is very pixily [if thats a word]. Going into the config wizard in the app further presses on these issues. The first screen is for resolution, and shows correct and incorrect pictures, correct is solid grey, incorrect has bars. Well at 1920x1080 120Mhz using a DVI cable I have bars... And once again, the "optimum resolution" button doesnt work.

Why is the correct resolution not working?

I've updated the panel's drivers along with my 980TI

Here are pictures of my Nvidia control panel, and the weird graphical error im perplexed over. The bar at the top of the second picture should be solid gray at your native resolution. Well at mine, 1080p, I have lines going through it and not solid gray. http://imgur.com/a/mYroC
