Why is you ram running at 666mhz by default? or do you mean 1333mhz because the default speed is ddr3 is 1333mhz. Well Im guessing the ram isn't stable with the xmp profile, what brand ram is it and what speed is it rated for?

probably a ram issue i cant think of anything else, really a odd behaviour. If you can try to get another two sticks of ddr3 ram at 1333mhz and check if that gives issues. before that could you install CPUZ and post a picture here what it says in the memory tab.

looks fine actually, so technically it is running at 1333mhz you have to multiply that by 2, so you are bascially running at 1333mhz already, my bad for not remembering this. to confirm, go to task manager check if it is saying 666 or 1333 under memory -> speed
yes it says 1333Mhz so is it just that my ram cant support my xmp?
