Hello.

I'm trying to overclock my RAM's speed at 1600mhz (as advertised) by enabling XMP on my mobo's bios, however when booting up CPU-Z shows that they are running at 666mhz (1333mhz)

Also my bios show that my two ram sticks are running at 0mhz I don't know if that's a bug (I've updated it to the latest version)

Here's the XMP settings

I remember trying it months ago by manually setting the speed at 1600mhz without xmp and it worked however I reset my bios settings and now it doesn't work, should I remove my ram sticks and install them again?

Thank you in advance as always.

Please include/list your specs like so:

OS:

You may want to power down the system, disconnect from the wall socket and then remove the CMOS battery for at least 15 minutes before replacing it. See if that helps. Also, you might want to reflash the BISO with the same BIOS version 1106, manually in BIOS.

You should be able to get to DDR3-1600MHz comfortably.

Thank you, I re-updated my BIOS with the same BIOS version and it worked!
