Hi, I have a Ryzan 3600x in an Asrock b450m pro4 mobo with a 2x8gb kit of Corsair Vengance RGB pro 3200mhz. I have the ram inserted into slots A2 and B2 as stated in the manual (Second and furthest slots from CPU). With XMP enabled the PC seems to boot fine, fans spinning at a normal speed, but no video output. Have to clear CMOS in order to boot properly afterwards. I had this exact kit of ram with a Ryzen 5600x and a Asus b550-plus mobo and would run XMP just fine. I am wondering if updating the BIOS on the Asrock board could solve this issue or if it could possibly be something else.

Yes, updating BIOS to last version that concerns your CPU and/or mentions memory improvement would be my first move. It's also true that 5000 series Ryzen has better memory management than 3000 series specially on B550 MBs and is pickier with RAM brands. That memory should have one lower XMP, so try that first.
I had 3600MHz on 3700x and Asus x470MB but it was Kingston, usually more compatible with AMD.

I had problems running a 2600X (rated up to DDR4-2933) with XMP 3000MT/s RAM until I loosened the CL/CAS setting by 2 clock cycles (it might have been from CL=18 to CL=20).

Although the 3600X supports DDR4-3200, it might be an idea to try relaxing the CL setting of both DIMMs from their XMP default by one clock cycle and see if they become stable.
