XMP Memory Option in ASUS Z97-A Overclocking

I am trying to overclock my CPU manually, but all the guides i've seen say I need to enable XMP memory. It shows as disabled, and I can't enable it. Therefore, I can't overclock?

Under DRAM it should offer, Auto, Manual or XMP should be simply click on XMP

If what Tradesman1 doesn't work for you, I believe there's also a switch right on the mobo itself, but that requires opening up your case.

There is no XMP profile. It just says disabled. In EZ mode, it just says disabled, and when I click on it, it just gives the disabled option again.

I flipped the switch on the motherboard that said "ezXMP", and it still remained disabled...

Take a look with the free app CPU-Z and see what it shows in the memory tab, if freq is 800 then you are already at 1600, (freq x 2 = effective data rate). If showing 667 then go into regular/full BIOS and look for XMP in the tweakers page
