XMP profile for dominator platinum

my ram is running at 1333 while it is 1866, i know a mobo doesn't support that when not overclocked, but then it should run in 1600 right? but when i found out someone was talking about a xmp profile in your bios i couldn 't find it, help?

What mobo do you have? And they are correct, setting the XMP profile will automatically optimize everything to its optimal settings. You could also just manually update your Ram Speed in the Bios.
