Hey community

I recently bought a new pc with the following specs;

Asrock extreme 4 mobo
8gb Kingston hyperx Beast ram @ 2400mhz
Intel i7 3770k
corsair force 3 240 sdd
Seagate barrcuda 1tb @ 7200rpm

And my ram runs @ 1333mhz when i try to enable xmp profiles my system fail boots 3 times and then resets the bios. I haven't updated to bios but I'm not sure that is the problem as i bought a simlar system for a friend 3 months ago with the same specs expect had an i5 3570k and it ran fine. any suggestions?:(

Read the review and may help, the point is that you need tweak the voltage, because you do the OC the RAM and you can't just enable the XMP.

I set the ram voltage to the recommended 1.65v and it still wouldn't boot sucesfully. I tried running xmp profile 2 (2133mhz) and that one ran without a problem :S

I have the same problem with Asrock Z77 Pro4. It's another ram that has to run on 2400mhz but the max is 2133. I hear 3 beeps the pc restarts 3 times and nothing, it's like something prevents the motherboard to even try to load.
