I have Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400mhz ram and select xmp to get the most out of it. It saves then reboots fine, but after using the pc for a day or two it will randomly boot to bios, showing the ram has reverted back to 1333mhz... any suggestions?

My specs:
Asus impact vi
i7 4770k
Corsair h100i
16gb corsair vengeance 2400mhz DDR3
Gtx 980 SC

My ram is the CMY16GX3M2A2400C11R version

The compatible ram on the Mobo's memory list (instructions) mention the CMY16GX3M2A2400C10 versions...

Would this make much of a difference? Does this mean I have to overclock manually?

I can see that Corsair list the Asus Impact VII but not the VI one... ill get in touch with them and get back to you.

Thanks for your suggestion, i just assumed it would all be fine once i slotted them in.

Contacted Corsair and they said that the Ram and mobo are compatible...

"With your CPU, you may need a slight OC of the CPU to carry the sticks at 2400, try OCing to 4GHz, could also try adding a bit of voltage to the DDRVTT voltage (might be CPUVTT on your mobo), maybe to 1.1"

I'll give it a go, thanks.
