xobox live connection from internet usb chip

I got a usb internet chip from verizon and i can plug it into my computer and get perfect internet connection and i tried plugging it into my xbox and it would not connect the light on the chip wuld indicate it was receiving power but i wasnt getting any internet access through it. anyone have any ideas? I'm not 100% sure if i even can connect it though so~

Those USB adapters usually require a driver of some kind to work, which your Xbox won't have. Unfortunately, that means that it won't work for Internet on your Xbox.
