XP 1800 VS 1700

It seems 1700 are impossible for me to get where I live. There are a lot of places where I can get 1800 Tbred tough. Are they as good as the 1700 in OCing ? DO B Tbred 1800 exists ? Less or more chances of getting a B with a 1800 vs 1700 ? Thanks a lot!

I recently bought an Athlon XP 1800+ Retail from TCWO.com and I can tell you this. TbredBs @ 1800+ exist Right now I am running mine at 12 x 166 = Athlon XP 2400+ using the original retail HSF that came with the processor! I believe that if I get a better HSF like SLK-800 I can easily go beyond 2GHz, and I mean easily! (my system is currently running at 34C/93F, vcore is at 1.65v)

Now about your chances on getting a TbredB, well you can't really know. Is more a matter of luck. If you can go at the stores and look at the processors in person, then you can easily identify a TbredB from the stepping on the top of the processor, which should be: AXDA1800DUT3C.
