XP 64?

my question is this: I need but a new copy of XP,and I can't wait for vista( I built a new system and my son is getting my old one) Is it worth it to buy XP pro 64 or should I buy XP Home, save a little, and wait for vista? Ether way I will be out some cash when vista comes out.

AND YES I HAVE A 64 bit CPU.

Theres no need to go 64bit at this point. Not many things take advantage of it. Just buy an OEM Windows XP Home, save some money.

Dont wait for Vista, you'll be waiting a while.

I downloaded the trial version from MS, and so for it runs the same as home. Dose anyone know if there is a difference between the trial and the real version?
