1. Is there any problem with sharing files between XP (NTFS)and 98 (FAT32) on separate computers?
2. Is there any problem with networking a XP computer (NTFS)with a 98 computer (FAT32)?

1. Win98 will not be able to read the NTFS partition.
2. No problem.

actualy, i made the same mistake a couple of weeks ago and somebody pointed out my mistake....windows 98 will not be able to read ntfs files on a dual-boot machine where the partitions or disks are on the same pc. a windows 98 machine can read ntfs files on another pc just fine.

but you're right, there shouldnt be any problem networking a 98 machine tgether with an xp machine. as a matter of fact, im doing it right now.
ignore everything i say
Edited by antivirus on 11/02/01 08:58 PM.

Oops, sorry buddy, just went right over the "on separate PCs" part for the first question!
