XP and DSL

I recently upgraded to XP with two user account. I installed my Verizon DSL
while signed in uder my user name. However, when my husband logs into XP
under his name, the sytem isn't recognizing that there's a internet
connection, even though there is one. Can anyone help me please!!

Hi;

Have you tried installing the Verizon DSL under your husband's profile just
as you did on yours?

Another way to do it is install it on the creator/owner account, or the admin
accout and it should work. If not, restart in safe mode, and log in as
admin, than place connect icons on all users desktop files.

Hi, Jacob;

I think (? not sure <g> ) what PA Bear meant was that DSL should be
available to all the users on the system without installing much of
anything --- other than setting up the TCP/IP and basic Networking options.

But some services/ISP's require some additional software to be installed.
Not sure about the Verizon service Bea is using.
