XP and Wireless Network

Quick question about XP and wireless networking. I am using DSL and have a wireless network setup. Frequently the connection will just drop. This does not happen on Windows 2000 computer. I turned off the wireless zero configuration through services and set the network up manually, but it still disconnects. Is there something I am missing or is it a common problem with XP?

In trouble shoot'n keep it apples to apples. Are you using the same card on different computers? If you are using cheep access point or cards who knows. the best is Orinoco @ www.proxim.com Ap1000 w/ gold cards.
