I recently installed XP on my system but now when I turn it on it stops before XP loads on a screen that displays the bios version and info about the memory, disc drives hard drives and whether the keyboard and mouse are detected. You have to press del to continue and then XP loads up normally.

I have had XP on this computer before and it has never done this before so I was wondering why it would do this and how to fix it.

Thanks

Does it say why its stopping? Any other error messages? Computers usually only stop like that when an error has been detected. Go in the bios when the message pops up and then do an exit and save. If the error still comes up then the bios is/isnt detecting something at boot.
