XP compatability mode

Solution
if it doesn't run in vista, it will not run with windows 7, how ever, for some XP apps u can run it in XP mode (not compatibility mode but a feature for windows 7 professional and ultimate) this is just a VM of XP thats included but will run the program out of the VM and as if it were a normal windows but with the XP window boarder, though this dose not work for directX applications, though any apps like that should get a update so it will work with vista/windows 7 when 7 comes out, if not its not worth using as it is out of date to much and there is likely a program to take its place that will do a better job

So far my experience with Win7 is that the compatibility mode SEEMS more functional than Vista, and yet it still seems to need some work. However considering how far along Win7 is currently in comparison to the same time frame with Vista, I think Win7 shows more promise.

Burning software in 64bit is still quite a challenge, but that seems to be true of every OS I've tried. (Vista64, XP64, Win7 64)

So, maybe. :)

Do you mean the compatibility options inside Windows 7 or the full Windows XP mode emulation?

The compatibility mode stuff I used never seemed to help with anything, however I've yet to use 7's full XP Mode (don't have the on-chip virtualisation until I build the new system) but I've heard good things.
