Xp Install problem

When installing Windows Xp, after the license and agreement part, it tells me to insert the disc, which is already there

Dirty or scratched disk. Clean it or try a different one.

Which disc is it asking you to insert?

Are you holding the F6 key down at any point during installation?

You have an upgrade copy of xp. You need to do exactly what it says. Put in your older windows disk that you are upgrading from and it should work. Pretty self explanatory.
