Hi, Yesterday my PC decided to run Chkdsk and just my luck I had a power outage during the scan.
Now the computer switches on but restarts on a constant loop, unable to reach the desktop. Safe mode doesn't even work as the failed Chkdsk scan appears to have corrupted something on the Hard Drive.
I've now spent hours trying to fix it but feel I need to get hold of an XP Professional CD to repair. I've lost my old one, along with any keys/codes so am wondering what is the best way to go about things.
Is there a CD I can buy which won't require any information on my current operating system?
I got process1_Initialization _failed
Along with... Stop:0x0000006B
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Amy
