Hello I am trying to produce a startup disc in case of boot trouble. I
have tried the built in backup system in Accessories but it keeps
going and going and going! I don't want to fill 80 floppies just a
simple way to startup. Help. Thanks

I just boot from the XP distribution floppy. You can get to the recovery
console from there, where you can restore the boot sector.

Try www.Bootdisk.com you should find something there of use.
