XP "Repair" from SP1 CD?

How can I do a "repair" or in place upgrade of my XP SP2 system from my
original SP1 CD? I get the message that the files on the computer are newer
than the files on the CD and cannot proceed.

You need to slipstream XP SP2 into XP

3/4 of the way down...........Bootable Windows XP installation CD-Rom (with
SP1
just substitute SP2 for SP1

Have you tried the Microsoft Windows Update? Usually if there are newer
files, they will automatically download for you.
